After a very warm day on Thursday, our weather will be noticeably cooler for Friday, especially near the west end of Lake Ontario, including the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), due to a brisk east wind off the chilly lake waters of Lake Ontario.
Rain and thunderstorm chances build through Friday
We will also have increasing clouds through the day on Friday with rain developing from west to east across southern Ontario during the afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms are also expected across southwestern Ontario.

Widespread rain is likely for Friday evening and into Friday night.

Saturday morning will be mostly cloudy and windy. We will also have lingering showers for areas to the north and east of Toronto.
