
Schools across Nova Scotia closed amid cleanup of wintry blast
Schools across Nova Scotia are closed today as crews continue to cleanup a heavy snowfall.
FORECAST: Another day of school closures as heavy snow hits Atlantic Canada
The low pressure system tracked south of Nova Scotia on Wednesday and into Thursday, bringing upwards of 25 centimetres to some areas.
All schools in the following regional centres for educaiton are closed today:
Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education.
Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education.
Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education.
Conseil scolaire acadien provincial.
Halifax Regional Centre for Education.
South Shore Regional Centre for Education.
Strait Regional Centre for Education.
Tri-County Regional Centre for Education.
Environment Canada says the snow will continue in northern and western parts of the province today, with yellow snowfall warnings still in effect.
