Here are some things you shouldn't leave in a cold car
There are items you need to “let go” if found frozen in the vehicle.
We’ve all forgotten that one bag of groceries under the seat at one time or another, but if it was the one with the eggs in it and temperatures were cold enough to freeze it, the USDA says let it go if the shells are cracked.
The same goes for canned goods, though a car made slushie may be enticing.
If you leave medicine overnight in a cold car, time to let it go and replace it, it could be unsafe to consume.
Aerosol cans are another no-no. There is potential for them to explode if left to freeze so bring them in as soon as they’re purchased and store them safely.
Purchasing a new plant is one way to warm up your mood during Winter, but don’t forget to bring it in as soon as you get home or it could die.
Lastly, it goes without saying but I’ll say it anyway, don’t leave your kids waiting for you in a cold car. It doesn't take long for hypothermia to set in.
