Great news, Toronto, the 8 p.m. sunsets are back
Sunsets after 8 p.m. will start in Toronto on Monday, and will continue for more than four months
Think more time outside, and later evening walks. Although the weather may not be completely cooperating in terms of pleasant spring conditions, later sunsets will begin in Toronto on Monday, April 14, and they're here to stay for the next several months ahead.
From the start to the end of April, Toronto will gain nearly 1 hour and 20 minutes of extra daylight!

Unfortunately, the climb to warmer days will not be as steady as our sunset times, however.
DON'T MISS: Get to know the hidden gems across Canada
April is notoriously known for spring temperature rollercoasters -- this week being a great example.
Toronto's normal daytime high should be 12°C, but on Wednesday, modified Arctic air moves in, and we may only reach 5°C in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). There's even the chance for some lake-effect snow flurries for areas to the north.

Average daytime highs should climb to 15.5°C by May 1, and into the 20s by the end of the month, but this spring will be sure to test your patience. Any warmth from now until May will likely only be temporary.
FORECAST: Winter won't quit: More snow and winds hit Ontario this week
As we approach the summer solstice, we'll continue to increase our daylight hours and our high temperatures, as well.
