Uncertainty for Sunday; Better weather north

The forecast for Sunday has become rather tricky with a system tracking south of the border, but much closer to southern Ontario than initially expected.

If you will be north of the GTA for the weekend, Sunday will be a pleasant mid-spring day with some sunshine and near-seasonal temperatures. However, the rest of southern Ontario will see increasing clouds with a threat for showers, especially late in the day for areas near and south of the 401. The overcast sky and east wind off Lake Ontario will also keep temperatures much cooler.

The threat for rain will continue into Monday, but at this point we expect that most of next week will be dry, and temperatures will trend back to seasonal or a few degrees above seasonal for the second half of the week.
