  • Kamloops: 27.2°C

  • Vancouver (YVR): 17.7°C

Recent years show a trend where Canada’s first 30°C typically arrives in late spring, and usually in B.C.:

  • 2025: May 2 in Kamloops (30.4°C)

  • 2024: May 9 in Lytton and Squamish

Warm temperatures will persist briefly before trending to near seasonal for the rest of the week and weekend along the South Coast. Cooler-than-seasonal conditions are expected for the interior and eastern areas. For the first week of May, temperatures are anticipated to be near or slightly above seasonal.
