The heaviest rainfall is expected Sunday and Monday. Forecast totals over the next five days range from 50-150 mm for the Fraser Valley and much of the South Coast.

Freezing levels near 2000 m this weekend continue to pose an avalanche risk, with a weakened snowpack creating unstable conditions. Temperatures reaching 5°C above seasonal averages will also contribute to snowmelt, increasing runoff into overflowing rivers.
