No fireworks: Check out this pet-friendly Canada Day celebration in Toronto
Bring your pet to this animal-friendly event.
Fireworks can be scary for pets. If you're in the Toronto area this Canada Day and want to celebrate with your four-legged friend, pet insurance company Pets Plus Us will light up the skies, quietly, in a pet-friendly celebration.
"This summer, Pets Plus Us is introducing a pet-friendly silent drone show that mimics firework displays, giving back summer skies to the pets who've been left out of the fun for far too long," reads an excerpt from a press release.
People can submit photos of their pets ahead of the event. The portraits of some of the animals may make an appearance in the drone show.
The show will take place Monday, June 30th, 2025, at Garrison Commons in Fort York at 9:30 p.m. EST.
